Connecting Instagram

If your already sure you have connected your facebook busines page to your instagram business account, you can skip ahead and check out 30-second video tutorial for connecting in Marky

 

Note: I know it's annoying but you must have a Facebook page and it must be connected to your Instagram if you want to connect to Instagram (Facebook owns Instagram so I guess they did this so that more people would have Facebook pages).

 

1. Go to your Facebook pages (left sidebar)

 

2. You'll see a view like this. Click on the page you want to connect to Instagram. (if you don't have one, you can create a dummy Facebook page)

 

3. Once on that page, click "Switch" (left sidebar) to manage that page.

 

4. Click "Settings" (left sidebar)

 

5. Click "Linked Accounts". (left sidebar)
Verify that your URL is now https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=linked_instagram

 

 

 

6. Click "Connect Account" (blue button)

 

7. Caution: Make sure you are connecting the _right _Instagram

 

8. You should see the confirmation page that says: Instagram Connected with a Green check

 

 

If you see this "Review Connection" on the connection page, then you will not be able to connect your instagram to Marky. You must first review and resolve the connection.

 

9. Go back to Marky (https://mymarky.ai/integrations). Click connect on Instagram.

 

 

10. You will be directed to a confirmation saying: Reconnect (your name) to Marky?

 

11. It will have the Privacy Policy and terms of service page, and with the "Reconnect" button.

 

12. Click on the option: Opt in all current and future pages
13. Click on "Continue"
14. Select the Instagram account you're interested in!
